Putrajaya Precinct 8 Smart school is a development on 15 acres of land. It consists of the following buildings:

• Secondary School for 1400 students
• Primary School for 1000 students
• Workshop
• Multipurpose hall with 1188 capacity
• Surau with 310 capacity
• Pavilion and playing field
• Guard house, bus shelter and ancillary building

The buildings were completed in January 2000. The secondary school has been operational since the beginning of Year 2000 school session whereas the primary school has been operational since the beginning of 2001

The school was first opened in 2004. However, officially this school started its school session on 3 January 2005. At the beginning of the opening of the school, the number of pupils was almost 500 and staff was 40. The school also provides facilities for students and teachers. Among them are:
