Urban Birding Hotspot

Putrajaya Wetland Park is a habitat for over 200 species of birds – from woodpeckers to sunbirds and bittern and is a major Urban Birding destination. Visitors can observe these birds from 18 metres viewing deck or stroll along nature trails in Putrajaya Wetlands Park, Botanical Garden and Rimba Alam Park. The charming verdant greeneries accompanied by the sound and chirping of birds are indeed soothing to the soul. Bird watching or ‘birding’ is an interesting recreational eco-tourism attraction that can be done with the naked eye, through visual enhancement equipment such as binoculars and telescopes or by just listening to the sounds of the birds.
